Cleantech ForEst ja Sunly loovad Eestisse ainulaadse iduettevõtete arenduskeskuse

TEXT IN ENGLISH BELOW

Sunly juhi Priit Lepasepa sõnul märgib sõlmitud koostööleping loodetavasti pikaajalise koostöö algust Eesti cleantech ja taastuvenergia start-up kogukonna kasvatamisel.

Lisaks on Cleantech ForEst jätkusuutliku iduettevõtluse võrgustiku looja Eesti rohetehnoloogiatele.

Sunly koondab investoreid, kelle seas on endised Nelja Energia AS aktsionärid, sh Vardar A/S, IVARD OÜ (Peeter Mänd), AS Vestman Energia (Aivar Berzin), HTB Investeeringute OÜ (Hannes Tamjärv), JMB Investeeringute AS (Jüri Mõis), Solarcom OÜ (Martin Kruus) ja Atradius OÜ (Kalle Kiigske).

Cleantech ForEst and Sunly establishing a unique startup center in Estonia

Renewable energy company Sunly and Estonian green innovation support organization Cleantech ForEst signed a collaboration agreement which also marks the beginning of establishing a new center for cleantech and energy technologies startups. Named Port of Power (PoP), the hub draws together companies from the relevant areas offering investments and access to regional and international network.

These problems need to be answered as well in a systematic approach by supporting cleantech solutions. „We have been active in Estonia for many years with the goal of commercializing new innovative products and services that enable phasing out old and often ineffective technologies. Cooperation with Sunly will certainly be fruitful and thriving for the sector. We are very glad to see that hardware related cleantech startups are starting to receive more attention, as well as support,“ Ani said.

According to Priit Lepasepp, CEO at Sunly, the collaboration hopefully marks the beginning of a long term cooperation with the aim of growing local cleantech and renewable energy startup community. „Sunly is the sole investor in Estonia that focuses on cleantech hardware investments, seeking investment opportunities in Estonia but also internationally.
