Climate-KIC Journey on maailma suurim kliima-innovatsiooni edendav suveülikool. Selle unikaalne 4-nädalase kursuse eesmärgiks on luua kliimainnovatsiooni ettevõtjaid. Nende nädalate jooksul liigutakse kolme erineva Euroopa sihtriigi vahel ja Eestil on olla au üheks Journey esimeseks asukohaks, võttes enda alla 40 inimese harimise innovatsiooni, ettevõtluse ja kliimamuutustega seotud väljakutsete teemadel. Suveülikooli lõpus esitlevad osalejad kümmekond äriideed, millel on reaalne mõju elukeskkonda paremaks muuta.

Journey ajakava:
I nädal: Tutvumine programmi võõrustava linnaga, uuritakse linna kliimamuutuste kontekstis ja avastakse, kuidas selle süsteem toimib.
II nädal: Töötatakse oma ala ekspertidega, et leida võimalikke lahendusi süsteemide muutmiseks. Moodustuvad tiimid, kellega koos arutleda ning uurida probleeme, töötamaks välja lahendusi.
3. nädal: Koostöö meeskonnaga ja sidusrühmadega, et rakendada oma projektile ülekantavaid ettevõtluspõhimõtteid ja määratleda selge tegevuskava.
4. nädal: Tutvumine kliimamuutuse innovatsioonikogukonnaga, esitatakse oma projekt tagasiside saamiseks, osaletakse konverentsil, mis sisaldab inspireerivaid kõnelusi ja projekti tutvustusi. Projekti lõpetamine. 40 noorel on võimalus tänu suveülikoolile liituda Climate-KIC kogukonnaga, saada ligipääs praktikavõimalustele, idufirmadele, innovatsioonile, teadustegevusele ning ettevõtlusvõimalustele.

Climate-KIC Journey summer school is coming to Estonia!
The Journey is a 4 week residential summer school hosted by EIT Climate-KIC and partner organisations around Europe. Participants will visit 3 locations during the 4 weeks. It offers a unique combination of academic study & real-world experience. You join more than 400 participants in a 4-week, full-time, intensive, residential learning programme hosted by top global universities. In 2019, a number of 4-week Journeys will run in parallel over the following time periods: 30th June - 27th July / 4th August - 31st August.
Journey Programme:
Week 1: Explore your host location in the context of climate change and discover how the system operates.
Week 2: Work with experts to identify the most impactful trajectories for systems change. Form excellent teams to prototype, discuss, and research.
Week 3: Work with your team and stakeholders to apply transferable entrepreneurship principals to your project and define a clear plan of action.
Week 4: Meet the Climate Knowledge Innovation community, present your project for feedback, engage in a conference including a pitch competition, inspirational talks, and project showcases, and seek future opportunities within the community. End the Journey with time for project finalisation, self-reflection, and goal setting.
40 joung participants have the chance to join with Climate-KIC Journey community, gain access to internships, start ups, innovation, research and entrepreneurship careers today.
